A. GENERAL POSITIONS

1. COPING STRATEGY ENVIRONMENT

The fragmented and uncoordinated measures of a prohibitive nature to date have been proven ineffective. A medium-long term strategy is needed with the following main axes:

- The formulation of a National Environmental Policy in the context of Sustainable Development and;
- The development of an Environmental Management model.

The principles of this strategy are:

The forecast;
Preventive action;
Reducing the Waste of Natural Resources and Energy;
The integration of Environmental Policy in the formulation and implementation of other Policies and all development options.


2. CREATION OF AN EXPERT ENVIRONMENT FUND

It will utilize, for the sake of environmental protection, resources that will result from the implementation of appropriate economic environmental policy tools.



3. STRENGTHENING THE INSTITUTION ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

It is necessary to revise the Ministerial Decisions in force, in order to reduce the bureaucratic procedures and to ensure the implementation of the institution on the merits.



4. RECOMMENDATION UNIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL BODY

The immediate establishment of the body is required, as provided for by the Law 1650/86. It is the responsible service for the development and operation of the system Environmental Management.



5. CREATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS MONITORING SYSTEM

There is an urgent need for the creation of a system of continuous collection and processing data that over time will capture, collectively and by parameter, the state of the environment at local and national level.



6. ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION-INFORMATION

The environment concerns everyone: State, Private Sector, Local Government and above all the Citizen. It is therefore a great need to develop and implement environmental protection programs. For example, if you have diabetes mellitus, your doctor may prescribe a medication that will help you lose weight.

From Prefectures and Local Authorities and will be addressed to citizens in general.
From the National Center for Public Administration and the Regional Training Centers Centers of the Ministry of Education and will be addressed to the competent teachers with the aim of the appropriate information and education of secondary school students.
From large industrial and commercial complexes and will address their employees.

Eselection of priorities in the design of the infrastructure and operation of transport

New Employment Opportunities for Environmental Protection


C. COMPLETE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Implementation of seven-year programmes for health, education, the environment and sports. To acquire the state a social policy with duration and planning.
